Puti Saduo [Bodhisattva] is Sanskrit, or “Pusa” for short in Chinese, meaning goddess oracle.

The centre of the San Jian [Three-bay] gable is covered with a pediment which makes its elevation more remarkably expressive. Such arrangement obviously incorporates Western elements. Lotus bud decorations on the pediment and the steeple also show harmonious coexistence of various architectural styles in the monastery. The hall comprises three parts: Yin Laotaiye [Bodhisattva Hall], Dizang Dian [Ksitigarbha Hall] in the middle, and Baoen Tang [Hall of Requiting Mercy] at the back. Baoen Tang houses ancestors’ shrines.
