The Funding Scheme for the year 2007-2008 (Phase 2) under The Charitable Trust of Tsing Shan Monastery is now open for application. This scheme aims at benefiting the society by sponsoring various organizations to host activities in the areas of Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai.

Knowing that citizens are living under stress amidst the quick pace of modern society, Managing Trustees has selected “Spiritual Well-being” to be the theme for this year’s funding scheme, with a view to promoting spiritual well-being and to soothing the tension and stress brought about by the busy city life.

The sponsored activities must be held and completed between February 2008 and July 2008. Deadline for application is 5:00 p.m., 31st October 2007.

Meanwhile, in order for interested organizations to have a better understanding of the theme of this year’s funding scheme, Managing Trustees will host an introduction seminar which is set on 29 September (Saturday) for the time being. Those who would like to attend the seminar or who have any inquiry about the funding scheme, please call 2441 6666 and contact the staff members of the Secretariat.
